Evaluating stained glass work

When made properly, stained glass should last for about one hundred years.

Contrary to what you may think, small pieces can be more expensive than larger ones. Smaller pieces demand greater precision and consequently more time for the artist.

Generally, a piece costs between $100 to $375 a square foot. The price depends on the complexity of the design, the number of pieces to be assembled, the quality of the glass, the technique and the research involved.
